Rescue workers recover three more bodies from collapsed Imo building

Rescue workers have recovered three more bodies from an uncompleted eight-storey building that collapsed in Owerri, Imo State, on Thursday.

An unspecified number of people were working on the building when it came down at exactly 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

.One body was recovered shortly after the incident.

Three more bodies were later recovered from the site by the rescue workers, bringing the death toll to four.

At least 12 rescued victims are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in the area.

A woman who is said to be selling consumables to the workers on the site is still trapped under the rubble alongside her two children.
