Now that you're back, please get back to work, Charly Boy charges Buhari

A day after he nearly escaped a mob action when he was pelted with stones by angry traders and protesters who are believed to be supporters of president Buhari at Wuse market, Abuja, Charly Boy has suspended the #ResumeOrResign protest championed by him.

Announcing the development in a speech at the Unity Fountain Park in Abuja, Charly Boy said; “We are not deterred by the intimidation and harassment by the sponsored thugs and we cannot be cowed by a few groups of people. What government want to do is to ensure that we have a clash with the hired crowd and we will not allow that to happen.”

Charly Boy, who also revealed that a new date would be communicated for the resumption of their protest, nearly escaped a mob attack yesterday when he came with a group of protesters and some cameramen to demonstrate in the market dominated by Hausas.

As soon as they were sighted by angry pro-Buhari traders and protesters, they were chased and pelted with stones with reports revealing that the veteran musician was nearly mobbed but for the swift intervention of police security who were almost overpowered by the angry youths.
