Ritualists cut off palm oil seller’s breasts in Ondo

A 50-year-old palm oil seller, identified as lya Dunsi, was allegedly murdered by ritualists, who cut off her two breasts in Arigidi-Akoko in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

This came after another middle-aged woman, identified as Toyin, was found dead in her room with two calabashes of concoction in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

According to a police source, Iya Dunsi was kidnapped and her corpse later found in a nearby bush at her Odiolowo, Arigidi-Akoko residence.

She was allegedly stripped naked by the ritualists before her two breasts were removed.

Meanwhile, similar ritual killings took place in lkare Akoko late last year in which a woman was killed and her private parts, including her breast, removed.

An eight-year-old pupil of St George’s Anglican Primary School, Okeagbe Akoko was also murdered for ritual purposes.

Speaking with newsmen, Divisional Police Officer for Okeagbe Akoko, Ibitayo Adetanranmi, confirmed the murder of the palm oil seller and the removal of her organs.

Adetanranmi assured that the perpetrators of the dastardly act will be punished in accordance with the law.
