My rivals are staging a coup against me -Brazil’s Rousseff declares

While testifying before the Senate, suspended Brazilian President, Dilma Rousseff declared that her rivals were staging a coup against her as she denied breaking budget rules.
Rousseff who also declared that future of the country was at stake, vehemently denied allegations against her.
“My government made mistakes, but never betrayed voters,” she said on Monday. “I did not commit the crimes that I am accused of in an arbitrary and unjust manner.”
While reiterating her claim that the trial against her was a coup, Rousseff said; “There is no justification for removing me from power.
“I am innocent, I am an honest person and I have never committed a crime.”
