RIVERS: PDP in clean sweep, clinches 4 constituencies in supplementary polls rerun
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the supplementary elections held in four constituencies for the remaining seats in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The PDP candidates declared winners and returned elected by INEC after the elections on Saturday include; Sokolo Solomon, Okpokiri Nwanaka, Dumle Maol, and Adonye Diri.

The state constituencies where the polls were held include Opobo/ Nkoro, Ahoada West, Abua/ Odual, and Gokana.
The PDP’s has now won a total of 31 seats in the State House of Assembly while the Social Democratic Party (SDP) claimed one seat.
Recall that the election staged yesterday in the four affected LGAs were for various reasons, rescheduled by INEC.
