Rivers police parade 49 suspected cultists, kidnappers, with human skulls
Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command yesterday paraded 49 persons in connection with different crimes in the state.
The suspects, whose offences included cultism, kidnapping and armed robbery were arrested by a combined team of the command’s Tactical Unit and the Inspector General of Police’s Monitoring Unit.
Among the suspects were two notorious kidnappers, Alex Obubu and Alaso Igbo who were said to have carried out different kidnap cases in the state. Meanwhile, two human skulls were also displayed by the police.
One of the skulls was identified by one of the suspects, Chika Amadi, as the head of one Ebubedike Wabali.
