RIVERS SUPPLEMENTARY POLLS: Voting ended, collation begins

KANO: INEC resumes collation of results as dep gov regains freedom

The supplementary elections in four Local Government Areas in Rivers State which where rescheduled have ended as vote counting is expected to begin.

Reports say voting materials have been moved to Independent National Election Commission Centres for collation exercise to commence after the re-run election process which held in Abua/Odua, Ahoada West, Gokana, And Opobo/Nkoro.

INEC rescheduled elections in the four affected LGAs for various reasons.

Recall during the rerun that over 3,066 police personnel were deployed to strategic areas in the state in readiness for the supplementary elections in some parts of the state.
