ROAD ACCIDENT: PDP chairman, Makarfi, escapes death

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Ahmed Makarfi, is reported to have escaped death on Friday.

This was as a vehicle he was travelling in reportedly got involved in multiple collisions along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

The party spokesperson, Dayo Adeyeye, who confirmed the incident in a statement said that the PDP chairman “and all other passengers in his vehicle came out unhurt.”

He added, “This is to allay the fears of our party members, teeming supporters and well wishers who heard of the accident and have been making frantic calls; as well as those who may stumble on half-baked information.”
