The musician was attacked by a group of four robbers who stormed his hotel room at gunpoint and robbed him of his valuables.

According to reports, Mr 2kay had just finished performing as one of the main acts during the Buckwyld and Breathless concert staged last month and had retired to his room at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, around 11 am on that fateful day when the robbers struck.

They reportedly gained entry after Mr 2kay mistook one of them for the housekeeper who forced his way into his hotel room thereby allowing others who were wielding guns threatening to shoot the artist if he didn’t allow them into his hotel room.
