Rohr calls up 23 Eagles for Seychelles, Egypt games; Onuachu, Ozornwafor handed debut invite

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has called up 23 players to execute the forthcoming AFCON qualifier against Seychelles and the friendly against Egypt.

While team captain, John Mikel Obi and forward, Kelechi Iheanacho were not invited, Paul Onuachu and Valentine Ozornwafor were handed first-time invites to the team.

Onuachu is currently Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe this season with 17 goals in 28 games for FC Midtjyland this season.

The match against the the Pirates of Seychelles is billed to hold on the 22nd of March, after which the Eagles will take on the Pharaohs in a friendly in Asaba.
