Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, and Super Falcons coach, Thomas Dennerby, are both contending for the 2018 CAF men’s and women’s coach of the year awards respectively.

Rohr, who led the Eagles to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, has helped the team qualify for their first Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals since 2013.

Mauritania’s Corentin Martins was also nominated after he secured the country a place in the AFCON finals for the first time in their history.

Morocco coach Herve Renard is also on the list alongside Senegal’s Aliou Cisse, whose team dazzled at the Russia World Cup.
