Roma’s Pjanic joins Juventus in a £26m deal

Roma midfielder, Miralem Pjanic has joined Juventus in a £26million move. Pjanic arrived at the Juventus Stadium on Monday to undergo his medical, which was announced as successful by the Turin club later that afternoon, he then put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international joined Roma from Lyon in 2011 and went on to make 185 appearances for the Rome-based club.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a particularly successful campaign last season, scoring 10 goals in 33 league games, to help Roma qualify for the Champions League with a third place finish in Serie A.

However, he was keen to secure a move to Massimiliano Allegri’s Italian champions and handed in a transfer request to Juventus earlier this month.
