Reigning FIFA Best player Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted a contract of €30m per season to join Italian champions Juventus, say reports in the Spanish press.

Madrid-based Diario AS claim the Portuguese star has agreed terms with the Bianconeri and now agent Jorge Mendes is set to hold talks with Madrid president Florentino Perez.

It is said that the European champions will request at least €100m for the player, who believes that this valuation – less than half of Neymar’s €222m fee – indicates how Madrid do not properly value.

The 33-year-old is said to be determined to leave the European champions, due to a fractured relationship with Perez and the club’s pursuit of Neymar.

Football Espana admits that no deal has yet been struck but the remarkable deal appear to have taken a step closer to fruition.

Ronaldo scored four goals at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia, to help his country reach the round of 16 stage, where they crashed out after a 2-1 defeat to Uruguay.
