Ronaldo calls on Madrid fans’ support to win Champions League
After firing Real Madrid to their 33rd La Liga title at Malaga on Sunday, star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has called on fans to support the team ahead of the Champions League final showdown to make it a double this season.
The Portuguese said this on Sunday night when thousands of fans converged in the centre of the Spanish capital to celebrate the club’s victory as the squad arrived the city on an open-top bus.
Ronaldo and French striker Karim Benzema scored the two goals which gave Real their win over Malaga and their first Spanish league title since 2012.

“We have to win the Champions League now. We are counting on all of your support. Let’s Go! Thank you very much,” Ronaldo said atop the walkway before singing along with the crowd.
Real will face Italian champions Juventus in Cardiff on June 3rd in the UEFA Champions League final.
While Juve, who already won double domestic titles, will be gunning for a treble in Cardiff, Real will be hoping to retain the title they won last year and making it a double for the club this season.
