Ronaldo scores on return from injury as Buffon sets Italian record

Portugese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo was on target for Juventus on his return from injury in their Serie A win over SPAL.

The Italian champions maintained their unbeaten start to the season with the victory.

Miralem Pjanic’s stunning curling strike on the stroke of half-time had given Juve the lead, before Ronaldo sealed victory on 78th minutes.

Inter Milan, who have won all six games so far under Antonio Conte, returned to the top of the table after beating Sampdoria also on Saturday.

In the game that ended 3-1, Alexis Sanchez scored and was sent off on his first Inter Milan start.
