Ronke Oshodi speaks on her frustration in Nollywood

Another personality who is diving into the fray of tribal-politics  generated during this election period in Nigeria is no other person than the popular Yoruba film actress,  Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi Oke.
She took to Instagram to lament how Igbo producers frustrated her and others out of non-indigenous language speaking movies in Nollywood.
Though her language was a bit sketchy and she also claimed not to have anything against any candidate, but it is no secret that she had thrown her weight behind Lagos State Governor-elect, Akinwunmi Ambode. Below is what she posted on Monday:
“Good day my beautiful people, I don’t have anything against any candidate I’m not a politician but an Ibo man who never betrays his brother for a Yoruba man lailai. For an example the Ibo producers in our industry frustrated almost all the Yoruba’s out of the English speaking Nollywood or you have to change your name to be with them, so y will he do that to us his brothers and sisters? That’s the only thing I don’t like, he can as well use any other strategy. Thanks and God bless you all.”
