Cultists in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital reportedly killed an engineering student of the Rivers State University, RSU, on Wednesday.

Identified as Linus Chioma, the student was said to be on his way to school but was found dead on the road with some machete wounds on his body.

This is coming less than 48 hours after a final year student of RSU, Prince Barisua, was shot dead near a hostel in the university.

Confirming the development, the spokesman of the police in the state, Mr Nnamdi Omoni, said Chioma’s body was found along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt, and that the corpse had machete wounds.
