‘Mad Over You’ crooner, Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtown has taken to social media to reveal that he has just received stimulus payment as a citizen of the United States of America despite being banned from entering the country for two-years now.

The singer who took to his official Twitter page to reveal the development said that the receipt of the US stimulus cheque came to him as a surprise because he has disciplinary issues still hanging over his head.

“Plot Twist: Been banned from the US for 2 years now,” Runtown posted on Twitter.

The singer’s announcement comes after media personality, Toke Makinwa, reacted to the decision by the Federal Government of Nigeria to extend movement restriction in Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for an extra 14 days in a bid to effectively tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

The chatterbox broadcaster, who took to her official Twitter page to react to the extension, said that the government should not just be focused on lockdown, but make provisions on how people will feed during the hard times.

According to her, the least the Federal government of Nigeria can do to help cushion the effect of the extension is to credit the account of citizens who have BVN with N10,000 (ten thousand naira) each.
