RUSSIA MEDDLING: Mueller questions US AG Jeff Session over possible collusion with Moscow

The ongoing probe into possible collusion between officials from President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russia witnessed the summoning of Jeff Sessions, the US attorney general, who was questioned by special counsel Robert Mueller.

The summoning of Sessions and further probe by Mueller came to light after news filtered in that the US attorney general was questioned for hours by the special counsel during a meeting last week.

Thus far, four people, including Trump’s foreign campaign manager and Michael Flynn, the former US national security adviser, have been indicted in the probe.

The probe began in May to investigate any links or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump campaign.
