Ruthless Barcelona thrash Real Madrid 4-0 in epic El Clasico
Barcelona put up an epic performance on Saturday night as they put four past rivals Real Madrid in a thrilling El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Hosts Real were looking to equal Barca’s record of the longest unbeaten run in La Liga but the defeat tarnished their hopes.
Barcelona thus remain the Spanish top flight side with the longest unbeaten run – 43 games – set between April 2017 and May 2018.
With the victory, Barcelona move six points clear of their rivals at the summiy of the La Liga table.

After a goalless first half, Robert Lewandowski broke the deadlock in the 54th minute with a clinical finish from Marc Casado’s through ball.
The Poland striker added his second of the night within two minutes to put his side in control before Lamine Yamal made it 3-0 on 77 minutes.
Raphinha then lobbed a fourth goal late on as he, as well as Yamal, scored in El Clasico for the first time.
It was a disappointing first El Clasico for Kylian Mbappe who had two goals disallowed for offside during the game and also denied by Inaki Pena.
