Mohamed Salah scored to help Liverpool complete a stunning comeback victory at Southampton in a Premier League clash on Friday night.

With the win, the Reds returned back to the top of the league table, two points above second-placed Manchester City.

With ten minutes remaining, Liverpool looked set to squander the opportunity to return to the top, before Salah put the visitors ahead at St. Mary’s.

Shane Long had handed Southampton an early lead with a composed finish from close range but Naby Keita headed the visitors level with his first goal for the club before the break.

Salah then scored a terrific solo goal before substitute Jordan Henderson sealed victory late on with a close-range finish.

The Reds go top although the defending champions, City, have a game in hand with six matches left to play.

Southampton remain in 16th place, just five points above the relegation zone.
