Beach Soccer: Sand Eagles prepare for return to world stage

Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles will face Senegal, Libya and Tanzania at the 2018 Beach Soccer Africa Cup Of Nations as the four teams have been drawn in Group B.

The tournament, to be hosted by Egypt, will hold from the 9th to the 14th of December at the Sharm El Sheikh.

Nigeria are two time winners of the competition, and they lost 8-4 to four time winners Senegal in the final of the last edition hosted in Lagos in 2016.

In Group A, hosts Egypt will lock horns with Morocco, Cote D’Ivoire and Madagascar.

The Super Sand Eagles were also beaten in the final of the 2011 edition where they lost 7-4 to Morocco in Casablanca.
