Shehu Sani joins new party

A former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the abduction of nine children in Kano State by suspected kidnappers.

Sani in a series of tweets on his Twitter time-line called for the immediate prosecution of the suspects arrested in connection with the crime.

Reacting to the arrest of the suspects, the senator wrote: ”To ‘steal’ children from Kano or anywhere and forcefully convert them to another faith is unreservedly condemnable.
”The perpetrators must be prosecuted. There’s the need for government to beam the searchlights on bogus orphanages engaged in children trafficking and forceful conversions.”
