Saraki visits Aso Rock again for close-door meeting with Buhari

Senate President Bukola Saraki again on Friday visited Aso Rock Villa where he had a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Senate President visited the Villa around 12 noon.

Though the reason for the meeting was not made available to newsmen, but speculations are rife that it may not be unconnected with the Senate position on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ibrahim Magu and the Secretary General to the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal.

There is the belief in some quarters that the several meetings between the President and the Senate President in recent times are aimed at ensuring a better relationship between the legislature and the executive arms of the government.

This is more especially as Saraki had before the Christmas break, disclosed to newsmen that Nigeria should expect a better relationship between the two arms.
