Published

Donald Trump had run the hit reality show, The Apprentice, for years now and made a success out of it. But as he recently got too busy with his presidential campaign, former action movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking his executive chair in the show to say ‘you are fired’.

TMZ reports that Trump has congratulated Arnold and says he will be great. He tweeted: “He’ll be great & will raise lots of $ for charity.” He added, “To all my fans, sorry I couldn’t do The Apprentice any longer — but equal time (presidential run) prohibits me from doing so. Love”.

NBC announced Arnold’s new gig on Monday morning, and says he’ll start calling the shots on the show during the 2016-17 TV season.

The A-list celebrity, huge success in his chosen profession, already has a catchphrase (“Hasta la vista”), and don’t forget … he’s an immigrant.

Also interesting … they got a former politician to replace the guy who left to run for office.

Other people in contention for the seat reportedly included Magic Johnson, George Lopez, and Richard Branson.
