Scores feared dead as multiple explosions hit a hospital in Maiduguri

Scores of people are feared dead, after a suicide attack on a crowded motor park in Madagali town, Adamawa State.

Early reports indicate that the attack was carried out by three female suicide bombers in different parts of the park, in a coordinated attack believed to be the handiwork of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

Madagali, is 350 km from Yola, the state Capital.

Security agents and emergency workers have moved to the scene of the bombings, and were still evacuating corpses as at the time of this report.

There is no official figure yet to the number of figure of the dead, but witnesses say it is on the high side, as the park was crowded.

Isolated suicide attacks have lately become the in-thing for the terrorist group, who the Nigerian Army recently claimed to have dislodged from their Sambisa Forest base.

The Army had also warned that escapees from the Sambisa were likely to infiltrate the civil populace and had called on Nigerians to report any suspicious activities or persons in their areas.

This is no longer a Boko Haram attack. Some thugs who are feeling bad about the sect’s defeat must have hijacked the terrorism in that zone!

This is exactly what Boko Haram is doing. The military need to lay low in their publicity. Publicity isn’t helping their efforts.

Death will definitely be high, motor park is not just any place where people don’t go. People returning to the state and other states will be there. It’s just sad this is still happening in Nigeria.
