S’East APC database crashes, members name missing

Published

on

The names of the All Progressives Congress members in the South-East geopolitical zone are missing from the records of the party, THE PUNCH learnt on Monday.

Investigations by our correspondent revealed that the development followed the crash of a database which stored the names of registered members of the party in the zone.

The crash was said to have been caused by a ‘computer virus.’

It was gathered that the development came to light when the names of the APC members in the zone was to be forwarded to Abuja for compilation in the national membership database of the party.

Our correspondent learnt that, at that point, it was discovered that the database had crashed, and records of names of registered APC members in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo states had been wiped off.
