Sen Dino Melaye ‘regains’ freedom
Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West has purportedly regains his freedom.
The senator was allegedly abducted by unknown gunmen on Thursday on his way to court in Lokoja.
The senator who only on Tuesday decamped from from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) revealed on his twitter handle that he escaped a dangerous attackers.
Without giving much details, Melaye said “I thank God once again for escaping another dangerous attack. I also thank Nigerians for their prayers and show of Love. Spent 11 hours in the wilderness traumatized but God preserved me. God is the best and in whom ONLY I trust. They will continue to try. WE SHALL OVERCOME!!!”.
Melaye has been having running battles with the police and has been charged to court for alleged gun running, damage to police property, and attempted suicide, among others.
