The Nigerian Police Force has ignored an Abuja High Court ruling that ordered the release of Dino Melaye if he meets up his bail conditions.
The court of Friday granted bail to Melaye on the basis that his health was deteriorating.
One of the bail conditions was the presentation of three sureties while the Clerk of the National Assembly signed the senator’s bail bond.
Despite fulfilling these requirements, reports have emerged that the Senator was still being held in police custody.
Efforts to reach the police authority have been unyielding as calls put through to the police image maker, Frank Mba were not picked.
