Sen Shehu suggests Buhari is too slow on matters of life and death of Nigerians

Senator Shehu Sani, has said that Nigerians cannot accept President Muhammadu Buhari’s submission that he usually takes his time before making decisions, and taking actions.

Buhari reportedly said this on Thursday night when he hosted the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to a dinner at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

But replying on a post on his twitter handle Senator Sani wrote, “We can afford not to haste on matters of bread and butter; we cannot afford not to hurry on matters of life and death.”

Senator Sani, who represents Kaduna Central senatorial district at the Senate, has remained one of the fiercest critics of Buhari’s administration handling of the killings in Benue State, as well as issues of corruption in the present administration.

The senator, also on his Twitter handle on Friday, lamented the disappearance of about $500million said to have been recovered from the family of the late Gen Sani Abacha.

According to him, “The disappearance of $500 million recovered loot now under investigation by the EFCC confirms the presence of seasoned and experienced magicians in Government. It also reveals the post graduate level of roguery and larceny in the system”.
