Senate intervenes in JOHESU strike, Saraki meets Adewole, Ngige

The Senate has seeking to seek ways to bring to an end, the ongoing strike of the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU).

The Senate President Bukola Saraki on Friday met with the Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, the minister for Labour, Chris Ngige, as well as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Primary Healthcare, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.

Members of the JOHESU have remained adamant, and refused to call off the ongoing strike in spite of a court order directing the union to call it off.
