Senate suspends ministerial screening to Tuesday

The Nigerian Senate, after two days of screening President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees, has postponed continuation of the exercise to Tuesday next week.

The Senate announced the postponement on its twitter handle @NGRsenate Thursday morning.

No reason was given for the development.

It will be recalled that the Senate commenced screening of nominees on Monday, with 19 so far screened and confirmed.
