SERIAL KILLINGS: Ex-NDDC boss Seminitari leads women on protest to Govt House

A former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Ibim Seminitari, on Wednesday led women and civil society organisations in Rivers State in a street protest.

The women marched to the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital In protest over the killing of young women in hotels in Rivers State.

Clad in black attire, they called for an end to the ugly trend, and said everybody, including prostitutes, deserve the right to life and should not be killed in such gruesome manner.

About eight young women have been reported killed in different hotels in the city within the last two months.
