SGF’s appointment: Buhari to consolidate power in 2019 —Source
Following the appointment of news Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), in person of Mr Boss Mustapha, an informed source has confided in Nigerian Tribune that the new appointment was made by the President Muhammadu Buhari led government to pacify the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) bloc that formed part of the All Progressives Congress in government.
Tribune Online further learnt that the appointment of new Secretary to the Government of the Federation would also pave the way for the constitution of board appointments which had in recent times put APC faithfuls at loggerheads on who should take what from the “spoils of war.”
The new appointment it was learnt that was part of the move by kitchen cabinet of the President Buhari led government to give the president an edge in the coming 2019 elections.
