Why we shot unarmed black man iin San Diego --Police
San Diego police have revealed that the unarmed black man who was shot dead by a Southern California cop was holding a vape smoking device before he was killed by the officer who had been at the scene for less than two minutes.
Meanwhile, demonstrations have continued for a second night over the fatal police shooting of Alfred Olango, a 38-year-old Ugandan immigrant with a U.S. felony record of convictions for drug and weapon offenses, according to federal court records.
Protests climaxed on Wednesday with demonstrators shouting “murder” and demanded a federal investigation of Tuesday’s shooting in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon, which came just as racially charged anger over similar incidents in two other U.S. cities during the past two weeks had begun to subside.
