The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has described the embattled self-acclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, Simon Ekpa, as a jobless scammer.

In a post shared by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka, on X platform, the minister said Ekpa who was arrested in Finland last week on terror-related charges, has no means of livelihood other than preying on his gullible followers to rip them off.

He also made particular reference to Ekpa’s recent boasts of establishing a Biafran national football team which he said had been given the nod to participate in a FIFA-organized tournament.

He added that was another ploy by the Biafran agitator to defraud his followers.

“If your children ask you today how a jobless Simon Ekpa was able to scam you, what would you tell them?” the post read.

“He even said he founded Biafra National Football Team and that they will be participating in international football tournaments.

“No one could ask him just a simple question, “International Football Tournament organized by FIFA or which body?”

“So his real name is Ifeanyi Njoku? How did he come about being known as Simon Ekpa?
What exactly was he doing in Finland to earn a living? Collecting donations from Ndi IPOB Stay At Home supporters?”
