S’Korea sends warship to rescue sailors abducted by Nigerian pirates

Published

on

South Korean government has readied war ship after some men suspected to be Nigerians, who abducted three South Korean sailors, disclosed a police source yesterday. The three victims were alleged to have been abducted by Nigerian pirates since first week of April.

Family members of the victims are, however, beginning to get restive because the kidnappers were yet to make contact with them.

New Telegraph correspondent gathered that the Nigerian government and police had wanted to keep the whole saga as quiet as possible, but this may no longer be possible as frantic, worried family members are beginning to reach to known friends, asking questions about what the authorities were doing to rescue their loved ones.
