Soldiers arrest bandits, rustlers in Kaduna, Katsina

Soldiers fighting banditry, kidnapping and livestock rustling in the North West, have arrested several bandits in Kaduna and Katsina states.

During a clearance operation, some of the bandits and rustlers, on Saturday, escaped with gunshot wounds.

Speaking on the operation in Abuja, yesterday, Col Sani Usman the Nigerian Army spokesman, said, “In continuation with the operations against livestock rustlers, armed bandits and kidnappers within its area of operations, troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army, have conducted clearance operations within Kaduna and Katsina States.
