Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus scored for Manchester City in their 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace in a Premier League clash on Sunday.

City went top of the league with the win, a point above second-placed Liverpool, who play Chelsea later on Sunday.

Sterling scored a brace in the 15th and 63rd minute to put City on a 2-0 lead, before Luka Milivojevic’s late free-kick halved the deficit for the hosts.

Substitute Jesus then sealed the win at the stroke of 90 minutes to keep Pep Guardiola’s side ahead in the title tursle.

“100 percent the way Liverpool have been playing. It will go down to the wire. I don’t see us slowing down now. Liverpool have a great squad, great self-belief, but so do we,” Sterling said about the title chase after the game.

City sit one point clear of Liverpool with five games remaining.

However, the Reds will return to the summit if they beat Chelsea at Anfield later in the day.
