Shehu Sani says Buhari’s govt is deceitful about restructuring

The Senator representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani, has cautioned Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s wife against the continued use of his hair as a talking point in her campaigns, branding it “hate speech”.

Sani did not not however mention her name, simply referring to her a s the “governor’s wife”.

It is not the first time that Sani’s hair has been a subject of the campaigns in Kaduna. During the height of his strife with Governor El-Rufai, the governor and his supporters had reportedly joked about shaving his head during political gatherings.

In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, @ShehuSani, on Saturday, which also appeared on his Facebook page, Sani wrote: “I appeal to Mr Governor to caution his wife to stop talking about my hair everywhere she goes on campaigns.

“Everywhere she goes, it’s all about my hair.

“It’s not my fault if her man is not blessed with hair.

“I consider it as hate speech.

“I will report her to Dr. Gummi or Council of Imams if she doesn’t stop.

“Haba Jammaa.”
