Uruguay striker, Luis Suarez netted his first League goals in over a month to help Barcelona secure a 3-0 victory over Leganes on Saturday.

Suarez scored the opener in the 28th-minute before doubling the lead on the hour mark.

Brazilian midfielder, Paulinho then scored his fourth goal of the season at the stroke of full time, to complete the 3-0 thumping of Leganes at their home.

With the victory, the La Liga toppers maintain their unbeaten run this season and go seven points clear off second-placed Valencia after 12 games.

“I wasn’t anxious about scoring, I was just trying to feel good,” Suarez said after the game.

“The goals helped us to win the game, which was the most important thing.

“Every game is difficult and we knew what it was going to be like. The important thing was to win.

“We try to play well, but it’s not always possible and we have to get used to this.”

Barca will play away to Juventus in the Uefa Champions League next Wednesday.
