Success benched as Salah’s brace for Liverpool downs Watford

Super Eagles forward, Isaac Success was an unused substitute in Watford’s matchday squad in the Premier League on Saturday as they were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool at Anfield.

The defeat means more misery piling up for Watford as they remain at the bottom of the table with just 9lnine points from 17 games.

The two goals were scored by Egypt superstar, Mohamed Salah, which takes his tally in the league this season to nine goals.

The current African Footballer of the Year curled the ball into the far corner for the opener in the 38 minute to put the host on their way to victory.

He then flicked in a late second in the final minute of normal time to ensure Liverpool picked another clean sheet and extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Watford missed chances in both halves, while Liverpool’s Sadio Mane had a header ruled out for offside following a review by VAR.
