SUDAN: Journalist faces death sentence over article on condoms
An article on the use of condom as a protection against HIV/AIDS published by a female Sudanese journalist, Ms Shamail Alnour has landed her in trouble as she is being accused of apostasy.
The article on condom use and the HIV/AIDS scourge prompted strong reactions from several of her compatriots who felt that it went against the Islamic values with some calling for her punishment.

Leading the call for Ms Alnour’s punishment is radical Islamic leader Mohamed Ali Algizoli who accused the journalist of apostasy and has called on the authorities to prosecute her.
Her crime is punishable by a death sentence in Sudan even as journalist groups and the opposition have thrown their weight behind Ms Alnour by organising solidarity campaigns.

A group of people many yrs ago,sat down and compiled wat we know 2day as Bible or Koran.Don’t b shocked,how I wish God himself will appear,so we can ask him questions directly.Condom is to control birthrate n diseases,yet they say d Bible n Koran is against it.Ok,stop taking drugs,using phone,insecticides, kerosene or money etc.Like animals hu never invent anytin n remain as God made them,do d same.
