Super Eagles get dates for Rwanda, Zimbabwe WCQ ties

The Super Eagles’ upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda’s Amavubi and Zimbabwe’s Warriors now have official dates.
Announced via the team’s social media account on Tuesday, the crucial fixtures will see the three-time African champions face Rwanda in a matchday five clash at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21.
Their second encounter is scheduled against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.

Nigeria is still searching for their first victory in the qualifiers, having recorded three draws and one loss in four matches. Currently, Eric Chelle’s squad sits in fifth place in Group C with three points.
Rwanda lead the group with seven points, followed by South Africa and Benin, who also have seven points but trail on goal difference.
Lesotho occupy fourth place with five points, while Zimbabwe remain at the bottom with two points.
