Super Eagles slide on FIFA rankings
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were among the worst movers in the top 50 according to the rankings published on Thursday by the world football governing body, FIFA.
Nigeria slipped one level down from their No. 50 spot on which they ranked previously.

The Eagles, who haven’t played any match since their 3-1 win over Algeria in November, finished in eight position in Africa, with Senegal, Ivory Coast and Egypt holding the first, second and third positions respectively.
Argentina kept the top spot and are the Team of the Year, followed by fellow South American nation, Brazil.
The next FIFA preview will be published on Thursday January 12, 2017.
