Supreme Court begins hearing in Atiku’s appeal against Buhari October 30

There are indications Saraki’s corruption case is persecution – Atiku

The Supreme Court will next Wednesday commence hearing on the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23 election.

The PDP disclosed this on its official Twitter handle – @OfficialPDPNig – on Sunday.

The tweet read: “Breaking News! The Supreme Court of Nigeria has scheduled to hear the Appeal of the PDP and Atiku/Peter Obi, arising from the judgment of the Appeal Court, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. It’s time to #RescueNigeria.”

The presidential election petitions tribunal had in September dismissed the PDP’s petitions for lack of merit.
