Over the last few months, the Nigerian government claims it has recovered huge sums of money running into tens of billions of Naira from alleged corrupt for met public officials.

The funds are said to be part of the embezzled funds recovered in its anti- corruption fight, some with the aid of its whistle blower policy.

Government has not specifically said how the recovered funds will be put to use, but what do you think they should be channeled into, given that they were not provided for in the 2017 budget.

Very funny but sensitive question. Government should use the recovered looted funds to stimulate the economy by investing heavily in capital projects, diversification of the economy to generate more employment opportunities.

You spoke well but first thing is to know the sum total of what they have realised so we can know how to utilize the fund judiciously.

Efcc has tried a lot , they have really recovered huge sum of money and I think the money should be used to finance the 2017 budget instead of going borrowing.

It is so tragic people are not voting for ‘Health’. How can we enjoy other facilities without good health? Nigerians are senseless!

The Nigerian government should distribute the money to all Nigerians so we can directly benefit from the recovered funds from alleged corrupt politicians. If they spend it on all the things in the poll, they will wear off and eventually get spoilt over time. Nigerians are talented and creative, individuals will know how to spend his/her share wisely.

I have an idea.Use the money to build new school, new hospitals, new roads.Name it all Anti-corruption school,Road, hospital . The full names of corrupt public officers should be inscribed on marbles in each building with how much they stole and how it was recovered . Ie This Anti corruption Hospital was built with funds stolen by Mr XYZ while in office. The sum of 2 billion naira recovered from him was used in building this hospital. Never again should public servants be allowed to enrich themselves in the expense of million of Nigerian living in abject poverty. Amen.
