The Rivers State Commissioner of police has revealed that the Police Command will give the sum of N1 million to the person who provided information leading to the arrest of Ifeanyi Chukwu Maxwell Dike in Jos, Plateau State as promised.

According to him, Dike, the escapee suspect who allegedly defiled, mutilated and killed an eight-year-old girl (Victory Chikamso) for suspected ritual will be charged to court soon.

Speaking while fielding questions from press men, Rivers State CP, Zaki Ahmed said justice will be made to run its due cause in the case of Dike and anyone found culpable will also be made to face the music.

“Ifeanyi Dike will be prosecuted as soon as investigations into his case are completed,” Zaki noted.

The Rivers State CP also revealed that the Police Command will give the sum of N1 million to the person who provided information leading to the arrest of Dike in Jos, Plateau State as promised.

Dike was re-arrested in the city of Jos early last Friday morning and he is currently in police custody.

Before he escaped police custody weeks ago, Dike was arrested by local vigilante group who later handed him over to men of the Rivers State Police Command after he was caught with the lifeless mutilated body of the eight-year-old girl.

Reports say he was nabbed after trying to dispose of the remains of the little girl said to be the child of his neighbour after cutting off her eyes, tongue and vagina.
