Suspected ritualist caught with 7 skulls dug from cemetery

A suspected ritualist identified as Olayinka Abbas Akeem met his Waterloo after he was nabbed by men of the Kwara State Police Command along Ilorin-Ajase Ipo Road with a sack containing seven human skulls.

During his confessional statement, the suspect who revealed that he was introduced into the business by his friend Tunde a.k.a Bante said the skulls were exhumed from a cemetery located at Igbo Owu community in the Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The suspect said he was convinced by his friend that money ritual was the surest way to become rich as he thought that was what most people were doing to live comfortable lives.

During the parade of Olayinka among some other suspected criminals by the Kwara State Police, the state Commissioner of Police, Lawan Ado said that the suspect allegedly exhumed the heads for ritual purpose.

The CP said that the Police was on the trail of the second suspect, who is on the run while also adding that Olayinka will soon be charged to court as soon as investigation was concluded on the matter.
