The tables turned against a senior judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia on Monday as she went from taking pleas of suspects in the dock to being in the dock and giving her own plea.

Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court took the stand before a colleague, Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Lagos High court who took her plea.

Ajumogobia was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a 30-Count charge of perverting course of justice, forgery and conspiracy alongside a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mr. Godwin Obla.

Both suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges.

On resumption of the hearing, Justice Oshodi had ordered both of them to enter the dock to give their plea.

Their counsels argued their bail applications, while the matter was stood down by the court to prepare ruling on the bail applications.
